University of Massachusetts Dorsets
- The UMass Dorset flock is a flock of approx. 60 ewes and lambs. We try to keep our ewes productive as long as possible and have many older ewes still producing multiple healthy lambs each year. We currently breed for spring and fall lambs. Our ewes spend most of the year out on pasture being brought inside so students can gain lambing experience and learn management techniques.
