SwanSong
- Rare breed hair sheep, from England. Only a few small flocks in the US. The Wiltshire was used to add meat quality and hair instead of wool when the Piel Farm was creating the Katahdin breed. They are used in Australia as terminal sires. See description on the Oklahoma State Animal Science website. Good mothers, easy births, plenty of twins, both sexes horned. No need for shearing. In the last few years, semen has been imported from both Australia and the United Kingdom.
