2007 Winners:

Congratulations to Suzanne Melia of Ord, Nebraska for winning Division I Chamption Lightweight at the 2007 Boone County Open Show!  The ewe lamb was sired by Blazer.

Congratulations to Christopher Gleason of Grand Island, NE for taking top honors in the 2005 Nebraska State Fair Class 1 Commercial Ewe Lambs.  The ewe lamb was sired by StarDust.  This was Christopher's first year showing at the Nebraska State Fair, what a great first year!

Congratulations to BethAnn Wackerla of Axtell, NE for winning Grand and Reserve Champion Market Lamb honors as well as Grand Champion Breeding Ewe at the 2005 Kearney County Fair. Congratulations to April Scott of Sutherland, NE for capturing the Division II (123-128 lbs) Champion Market Lamb honors at the 2004 Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition Market Lamb Show Sept. 25. The daughter of Andy and Candace Scott showed her 128-lb. crossbred wether sired by a Superstar son (Superman, purchased by Marty Fear, Sutherland).

Congratulations to Dani Berry for placing 3rd in class 9 of the black-faced crosses at the 2002 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) with her wether out of Superstar.  No grey or black lamb received a higher placing in any of the 22 classes of Suffolk & black-faced crosses at this year's show, so we're especially proud of this wether's placing.  Congrats again Dani!

Katelyn Van Bummel of El Dorado Springs, MO, captured the Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb honors with her lamb Drudik #609 (sired by Black Jack) at the St. Clair County Fair in Osceola, MO. Katelyn and her sister, Laurel Van Bummel, each received first place in their respective classes with their club lambs at the Cedar County Fair in Stockton, MO. Laurel also had a class winner at the Land-O-Lakes Fair in El Dorado Springs. The Reserve Champion at the Land-O-Lakes Youth Fair was also exhibited by Laurel.  The Van Bummels won two more Reserve Grand Championships, one in the market division and one in breeding.
