2007 Winners:

Congratulations to Suzanne Melia of Ord, Nebraska for winning Division I Chamption Lightweight at the 2007 Boone County Open Show!  The ewe lamb was sired by Blazer.    (Exhibited by Suzanne Melia of Ord, Nebraska .)

2005 Winners:

Congratulations to Hilary Johnson of Washington, Kansas for taking top of class honors at the 2005 Kansas Junior Livestock Show!  The ewe lamb was sired by a Drudik ram.    (Exhibited by Hilary Johnson of Washington, Kansas.)

2005 Nebraska State Fair Class 1 Commercial Ewe Lamb 1st Place (picture not yet available)

Congratulations to Christopher Gleason of Grand Island, NE for taking top honors in the 2005 Nebraska State Fair Class 1 Commercial Ewe Lambs.  The ewe lamb was sired by StarDust.  This was Christopher's first year showing at the Nebraska State Fair, what a great first year!    (Exhibited by Christopher Gleason of Grand Island, Nebraska.)

Congratulations to BethAnn Wackerla of Axtell, NE for winning Grand and Reserve Champion Market Lamb honors as well as Grand Champion Breeding Ewe at the 2005 Kearney County Fair. The daughter of Robert and Diann Wackerla, BethAnn's lambs were sired by Drudik rams.  BethAnn also captured the Grand Champion Showmanship and Herdsmanship honors at the 2005 Kearney County Fair.  Congrats again to BethAnn on her great year!    (Exhibited by BethAnn Wackerla of Axtell, Nebraska.)

2004 Winners:

Congratulations to April Scott of Sutherland, NE for capturing the Division II (123-128 lbs) Champion Market Lamb honors at the 2004 Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition Market Lamb Show Sept. 25. The daughter of Andy and Candace Scott showed her 128-lb. crossbred wether sired by a Superstar son (Superman, purchased by Marty Fear, Sutherland).    (Exhibited by April Scott of Sutherland, Nebraska.)    ADDITIONALLY, CONGRATULATIONS TO PHILLIP WEINRICH, Hall County, NE, for exhibiting a Superstar son that yielded the largest loin eye (5.1 sq. inches) out of 514 lambs exhibited at the 2004 Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition!

Scoti Dugal took First Place in her weight class at the 2002 Western Idaho Fair with her lamb out of Blue Steel.  In the post-show analysis the judge remarked that her lamb had the best profile of the show.       (Exhibited by Scoti Dugal of Middleton,  Idaho)

Congratulations to Laurel Van Bummel for her 5th Place Suffolk Market Lamb at the 2001 Missouri State Fair with this Black Jack-sired triplet-born ewe.  Earlier in the year she placed 2nd in class at the 2001 Land-O-Lakes Fair in El Dorado Springs with this ewe. Laurel Van Bummel took 5th Place Wether Dam at the 2001 Missouri State Fair with this double-bred Black Jack ewe.  Earlier in the year, Katelyn Van Bummel captured best of class at the 2001 Land-O-Lakes Fair at El Dorado Springs with this ewe. Aaron Rowse exhibited this Grand Champion Ram at the 2000 Holt County Nebraska Fair.  The ram lamb was sired by Woody and was one of the lambs featured in our Year 2000 Lamb Catalog.  Congratulations to Aaron on a job well done!            (Exhibited by Aaron Rowse of Amelia, Nebraska)

Katelyn Van Bummel of El Dorado Springs, MO, captured the Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb honors with her lamb Drudik #609 (sired by Black Jack) at the St. Clair County Fair in Osceola, MO. Katelyn and her sister, Laurel Van Bummel, each received first place in their respective classes with their club lambs at the Cedar County Fair in Stockton, MO. Laurel also had a class winner at the Land-O-Lakes Fair in El Dorado Springs. The Reserve Champion at the Land-O-Lakes Youth Fair was also exhibited by Laurel.  The Van Bummels won two more Reserve Grand Championships, one in the market division and one in breeding.
